Husband-and-wife team Dr. Nicholas G. Mouchaham, and Dr. Laura E. Mouchaham bring their unique strengths, shared philosophy, and a whole lot of heart to Carmel families. Dr. Nick Mouchaham's path to dentistry started with his own orthodontic treatment. The confidence he gained from braces inspired him to help others achieve life-changing smiles. Today, he has advanced training in Invisalign® clear aligner therapy, cosmetic smile design, and veneers, and he continues to complete well above the required continuing education hours each year.
His Passion for Dentistry
Dr. Nick loves the blend of science, art, and engineering that dentistry offers. Whether he’s mapping out an Invisalign case or designing a natural-looking smile, he approaches each treatment with creativity and precision.
He also teaches part-time as an instructor in the clinics at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Outside the Office
When he isn’t caring for patients, you’ll find Dr. Nick skiing, golfing, hiking, or working on his yard. He and Dr. Laura also love traveling, enjoying live music, and spending time with their rescue dog, Frankie. Whenever possible, Dr. Nick loves cheering on his favorite sports teams.

His lighthearted approach helps patients of all ages feel comfortable and relaxed while still receiving top-quality care. - Miami Valley Hospital - General Practice Residency with IV Sedation Certification
Dr. Laura Mouchaham is passionate about both general and advanced dentistry. She has additional training in dental implants, oral surgery, IV conscious sedation, and Botox therapy. Patients appreciate her calming demeanor and her ability to take on even the most complex dental procedures with confidence.
Her Passion for Dentistry
Dr. Laura loves the opportunity to provide comprehensive care — from preventive visits to surgical treatments — in a comfortable, supportive setting. For patients who may feel nervous, she offers IV and oral sedation to make dental care accessible and stress-free.
Outside the Office
Dr. Laura enjoys baking, reading cookbooks, and exploring new foods. In her spare time, you can find her walking outside or attending a workout class. She and Dr. Nick are avid travelers and outdoor adventurers, whether it’s skiing down Colorado slopes or hiking local trails.
Partners in Life & Dentistry
Drs. Nick and Laura first met while studying at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Years later, Dr. Nick proposed on a snowy mountain in Breckenridge, Colorado — a perfect reflection of their shared love for the outdoors.
Today, they share not only a marriage but also a practice, where they combine their skills as our dentist in Carmel.
